Speaking to Dermot and Dave, the Irish legend explained that a Christmas present of clippers, red wine and the film 'Black Hawk Down' inspired his new hair do.
Niall also spoke about going from playing GAA to soccer, his time with as an Irish international and more recently, his time with the FAI.
Plus, he gave his take on whether or not the Boys in Green will qualify for the next World Cup.
