Imagine your partner gave you the nickname "little balloon" because you had put on some weight? Just let that sink in for a second...

Well according to reports, that's exactly what happened with model and TV star Kelly Brook and her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi. 

The Frenchman is said to have christened her with that delightful title after she gained a few unwanted kilos. 

But what was he at? Was it a bit of a private joke between the two of them? Or did he say it in hope that a little humour would sugar the message he wanted to get across?

Well Today FM's Dermot and Dave producer Maria Devereux asked the lads for their thoughts on Parisi's perspective, and of course, our the listeners wanted to have their say too. 

There was a massive reaction to the topic with the like of Susie in Dunboyne telling us how her and her fella always call each other "fatty" as a bit of fun, and another person saying there are too many "complicated snowflake relationships" nowadays. 

Being open and telling the truth seems to be the general consensus, except for the case of caller Mick's story. Mick was a bit too honest with his heavily pregnant wife and things didn't go the way he had planned. "Don't ever mention the 'F' word", he laughed.
