While listeners to Dermot and Dave will know that our Dave is a Man Utd super fan, very few people know that our Dermot was once a massive fan of the Reds. He astounded everyone (including Dave) when he revealed a fact that's been stored in his brain since he was a young child watching the first Manchester United game broadcast on Irish television.

Dermot remembered watching an Irish player by the name of Liam O'Brien being sent off after around 90 seconds, a record for the club.

Liam O'Brien joined Dermot and Dave to explain what happened and spoke about his time at Old Trafford from working with the great Sir Alex to the support of the other Irish players.
