When Becky Loftus and her husband went on holiday with a couple they have been close pals with for years the conversation soon turned to children.

The other couple had been trying to conceive for some time but were experiencing difficulties.

It was during that conversation that Becky realised she would consider carrying their child for them and spoke up voicing the option over dinner.

Two weeks later, her friend contacted her asking her if the offer still stood and soon Becky found herself carrying baby for her friend.

Becky joined Dermot & Dave to chat about the baby being conceived in a Cypriot clinic via IVF, the legal side of it all and what it felt like to hand over the baby to her friend when it was born.
