The result can lead to men struggling with their body image, often taking their search for perfection to extremes whether that's through diet or exercise.
A lot has been written and discussed around body positivity for women and girls, but in those conversations, men can be forgotten.
One person who is hoping to buck that trend and open the discussion around body positivity in men is Ben James.

Ben who is, by industry standards, defined as a plus size model, has been speaking out through his social media channels about the importance of embracing the body away from the aesthetics.
