Across 1976 and 1977, New York City was caught up in the case of Son of Sam. Six people were killed and seven others were killed, seemingly at random across Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

In August 1977, a man called David Berkowitz confessed to being the 'Son of Sam' and he is currently serving six life sentences for his crimes.

Now a new Netflix documentary is exploring if there is more to the case than meets the eye.

The documentary will explore if Berkowitz acted alone, or if there was an involvement of a cult.
