As Ireland prepares for the first set of lockdown measures to be lifted on Mary 18th, Dermot & Dave spoke to friend of the show Grainne Seoige about how she is finding life in South Africa at the moment.

The former TG4 and Tv3 newsreader spoke to the lads from her new home of Johannesburg on this mornings show, where she revealed just how strict the Covid-19 measures were in the city were.

South Africa has taken some of the most drastic measures in the world to stop the spread of the coronavirus, which include a ban on the sale, and even transport, of alcohol.

Residents in the country are also unable to purchase tobacco, as there are fears it could encourage people to go out and socialise with one another.
