On Dermot and Dave this morning the lads were asked to help out with a listener's predicament.
As always, the two D's were more than happy to help out so they gave Paul in Dublin a call to see what they (and the nation) could do.
The egg cups in question belonged to his late mother, who had gathered a very impressive and diverse selection. They come is all shapes and sizes and range from an old pound to €1,000+.
They are still kept on display in the family home but Paul feels that it's now time to pass them on to someone else who will appreciate them.
He could just sell them, but he promised his mum he wouldn't and that they'd be kept together, so this is where it gets tricky. It's over 1,500 pieces like!?
Maybe you have space for them? Maybe you have a couple of dressers at home that are half empty and you like collecting things? Or perhaps you know someone, or a place, that could keep these safe and cherish them?
If so, you can email us on dermotanddave@todayfm.com. Let's help Paul on his mission.
