Are you a dog lover?? If so, this service is definitely going to make your tail wag.
For years, us humans have been treating ourselves to manicures, pedicures, and every other kind of 'cure' in order to stay well-groomed - but what about our doggies?
Well 'pawdicures' have become big business across the globe, and now it seems they're getting just as popular here in Ireland.
Speaking on Dermot and Dave, Sharon Stanley (owner of Sharon's Dog Grooming Salon, in Navan, Co. Meath) tells us how she's "packed out for Christmas".
Her beautifying centre also offers a pup's nails to be clipped, filed and painted in any array of colours and designs, and with Santa on the way she says, "you're gonna have all red or even a French manicure" as the popular requests.
But that's not all, Sharon now offers 'colour fun', which is a temporary non-toxic dye to give pooches a balayage, "it just washes out the next day" she says.
And if you don't know what balayage is, here you go:
'a technique for highlighting hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way as to create a graduated, natural-looking effect'
The entrepreneur believes "it shows off the personality of the dog" but still cannot get over the demand. You could say people are going barking mad for it. *gets jacket*
