Ballymun boy, 5-time All-Ireland winner and all-round sound skin Philly McMahon popped into studio this morning to tell us all about his new campaign.
Philly isn't just a powerhouse on the pitch, he is also a force to be reckoned with in his every day life as he focuses his strengths into helping people. He cannot emphasise enough how important he feels sport is.
After the release of his book 'The Choice' (which deals with the death of his brother John through addiction) last year, the Dubliner has kept his finger on the pulse and has rolled out his latest strategy to help young, unemployed adults in communities, all over Ireland, to reach their potential.
Dermot and Dave chatted to Philly about his experience with addiction, and how the cancer epidemic is also having a huge effect on families across Ireland (and the world).
The lads also had a chat about the GAA season so far, and what Philly's hopes are for the seemingly unstoppable 'Boys in Blue' through 2018.
'Half Time Talk' is being launched in the Mansion House, Dublin this evening.
If you want to find out more, or get involved in the project, you can head over to www.halftimetalk.ie or their Facebook page.
You can listen to the chat in full by pressing the 'play' button in the image above the headline.
