It was announced this morning that Loreto Primary School in Rathfarnham is trialling a "no-homework policy" for all students except for those in 6th class.

The idea behind the move is to destress pupils and put less pressure on them when they go home. Instead, the emphasis will be on classroom learning.

This no-homework policy divided opinions on the Dermot and Dave team this morning and it seems it was the same with listeners.

While some people support scrapping homework, others feel it is vital to independent learning.
