Like a lot of people out there, I was partial to a bit of WWF/WWE as a youngster and often wondered what it would be like to be a wrestler. 'The Ultimate Warrior' was my fave.

Wrestlemania, the Royal Rumble, the cage, tag-teaming, piledrivers, reverse suplexes, insane audiences - the list goes on. How could anybody not want to do it?

Well one lady who is living out my childhood dream is Karen Glennon, who goes by the stage name 'Session Moth Martina'. And it's more than just a name!

Karen has been wrestling for the past 5 years and is considered to be in the top five in the country, irrespective of gender.

Here she is in action:

She jumped the ropes of the Today FM arena this morning and popped in for a chat on Dermot and Dave.

She chatted about how she got into the industry, setting up Over The Top Wrestling back in 2014, the gruelling training sessions involved, the scene in Japan and how she has brought her character to life. 

The sport is going from strength to strength in this country and 'Martina' is making a name for herself on the global scene too. Sure who doesn't love a session moth ehh??
