From coming second in Eurovision less than a year ago to having his own BBC New Years Eve special, performing at Formula One, releasing his debut album and meeting Taylor Swift-it’s safe to say Sam Ryder has been on an incredible journey.

But, perhaps the most surreal moment has been singing ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ with footballing superstar Peter Crouch.

The TikTok star who has become a household name joined Dermot and Dave to chat remembering lyrics, duetting with Sporty Spice, his previous life in a hardcore band and his plans for his Irish shows.

Sam’s debut album ‘There’s Nothing But Space, Man’ is out now and Sam will be in Belfast on March 17th and Dublin’s 3Olympia on the 18th.
