So today's the day lads. Budget 2019.

It's one of the biggest events on the government's calendar annually and this year sees Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe deliver the new figures, for the second time.

If you don't know your USC from your VAT, fear not, financial expert Paul Merriman (of AskPaul.ie) is here to guide you through the dizzying list of what the Budget will mean for you.

Speaking on Dermot and Dave, Paul tells us how "Paschal Donohoe hasn't got an awful lot to play with here" and that the most important thing for everyone to do is, "to sit down and do their own personal Budget template".

That's solid advice right there!

There may also be some amazing news for the self-employed as they could be entitled to social welfare for the first time.

Check out all Paul's information by pressing the play button in the image at the top of the page.
