We're sure your parents have told you, "Everything happens for a reason" at some stage in your life, and Cavan man Richie Stephens is a prime example of this.
Richie from Gowna was working in the construction industry for years when one day, back in 2011, a beam fell on his shoulder, unbeknownst to him - breaking his back in the process.
After lots of surgery, and the obvious physical restrictions, Richie took a chance at some modelling (well he is a handsome devil after all).
Low and behold he was snapped up by an agency and from there he was contacted to be in a movie. Fast forward to now, the actor has starred in over 50 movie and TV roles with his latest part being a cop in the new movie Kings - which also stars Daniel Craig and Halle Berry:

Dermot also wanted to know how the aul Caaaaavan accent went down over there.
