Irish pubs are the best place to find yourself a good old sing song and every now and again, you come across an absolute cracker.

Like JR O'Connor's Bar in Charleville, Co. Cork, which hosts a regular 'session' for people to come along and let the music flow.

One man who knows how to write (and perform) a tune is Clare man Peter Casey.

Peter made up a song about the menace EPO would cause if it crept into our beloved game of hurling.

He has everything crossed for the Clare senior hurlers as he reckons an All-Ireland win would be pivotal for the county. 

And it turned out Peter is rather modest too with regards his coaching skills. He was hailed a hero in a flutter of messages from parents of the kids he ha mentored. What a guy!!

I'd say Lance Armstrong would get a kick out of this...
