Let's just say it's not the kind of plot line you've ever heard before. 

Michael Patrick was only in his teens when one of his testicles started to swell. He had his own theories as to why this happened, and figured it might just go away - but it didn't. In fact, it got worse. 

After leaving it for TWO AND A HALF YEARS, he finally went to the doctor who syringed 400ml of fluid from the lump (that's somewhere between a can of soft drink and a pint). 

Years after all this had happened, Michael and his friend Oisín kearney were chatting in the pub one night and tried to think of some concept for a new comedy. It was then they had their "Eureka" moment. I mean it was as clear as his swollen testicle once was.

Mick and Oisín joined Dermot and Dave in studio this morning to chat about the whole story from scratch, and it's as unbelievable as it sounds. 

We cannot wait to get our tickets to 'My Left Nut' when it tours nationwide in the near future.
