I can't help but hear Niall Horan's latest track 'On The Loose' every time those pesky goats of Clare make the headlines.

In case you're unaware, over the past couple of weeks the town of Ennis and it's outskirts have been bombarded with dozens of goats.

Now you may be thinking, "aww...but they're sooooo cute!?", and yes, they are, but not when they're jumping up on cars, running out into traffic and leaving a mess behind them. 

The have also been "procreating like there's no tomorrow" according to sources, and it's driving most of the locals bonkers. And the Mayor of Ennis is finding it very 'unacceptable'. There's even talk of castration - but we say balls to that!

David Hayes is a Community Activist in the area and on this morning's show he chatted to Dermot and Dave about the 'epidemic'. But according to him, it's us humans that are in their way.

We'd love to go for a drink with David - he'd be some craic!
