The silverware at the Gibson Hotel is polished, the cameras are poised and the singletons have been chosen, meaning First Dates Ireland is ready for some more blossoming romances and absolute failures.

Maitre D' Mateo and co. are back on our screens this Thursday (RTÉ Two @9:30pm) to delight us with another fly-on-the-wall look at what couples get up on their dates.
