With the pubs of Ireland staying open this Good Friday, for the first time in 90 years, one Dublin publican has devised a way of lining other people's pockets, as appose to his own.
Irial Slattery (Managing Director of Slattery's Pub, Beggar's Bush, Dublin) was on Dermot and Dave this morning, to tell us all about his effort to raise some much needed funds for his chosen charities - the Hospice in Blackrock & Harold's Cross, and the 4th Port Dodder Sea Scout Group.
The pub will split all of it's takings from the whole day to each of these foundations.
A touch of class from Irial and the crew.
