Waste not want not.
If you've ever wondered how you could save on your weekly shopping bill, this method might just be for you.
Mandy Hodges from Australia is what she calls, a 'dumpster diver'. She goes out several times a week to forage the bins of two of her local supermarkets.
It may seem a bit extreme and not something many people would be into, but it saves her $200+ each week for some perfectly good produce - so maybe it's something worth looking into (embrace the pun).
On this morning's Dermot and Dave, the lads gave her a call to find out what her inspiration was to bringing a new meaning to 'reusable waste'.
The mother-of-two chatted about how her 11-year-old son Ethan absolutely loves it, how the legalities are a bit of a grey area and even offered some advice for people who might want to give it a go.
I may or may not try this later on today *searches for marigolds*
