As of July 6th 2018, there will be a new approach on how the Official Irish Music Chart is formed.
The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) has teamed up with the Official Charts Company to now count the streaming and downloading of official videos towards the countdown.
On this morning's Dermot and Dave, the lads gave Kodaline drummer Vinny May a call to hear why this is such a positive move for Irish music and artists across the globe.
Vinny sees it as Ireland "moving with the times" and "making it more relevant".
The new 'Three-track cap' is also a cool new feature which has been welcomed with open arms. It will ensure that no more than 3 of an artist's most popular tracks will feature in the top 100.
As Dave put it so eloquently, "it will be more reflective of the way people are consuming music".
