Something magical happened on this morning's show.
David McDermott of Athenry Antiques got in touch with us to go on a treasure hunt of sorts.
Back in January, David went to a bar in Kilfenora, Co. Clare to buy some old pub memorabilia and came across an Omega watch with 'Peter Kinane Kevinsfort' inscribed on the back of it.
It wasn't until it was recently cleaned up that he spotted the mystery name and address, which heightened his curiosity.
Dermot and Dave gave the auctioneer a call to find out more about the timepiece and see if our listener's could help trace it back to it's rightful owner.
What ensued was remarkable. A sixty year absence, a pioneer, humble farmer and a loving family in total disbelief.
A bittersweet moment for the Kinanes but they now have an heirloom to treasure forever more.
Fair play to ya David. There are good deeds and they're are unbelievable deeds!
