With All Hallows' Eve upon us, Dermot and Dave's Seán Reidy transformed into a Halloween reporter to bring us some of the strange ancient Irish rituals we once had in this country.
There's the likes of 'the ivy leaf', where a spotted leaf meant ill fate, the 'blind-date' (which has nothing to do with Cilla Black) but did have to do with blindfolding local girls and making them pick cabbages in a field, and throwing dust at fairies.
The lads have a great laugh at the costumes they had to wear when they were kids. Dermot was a guinea pig for his sister's black socks and poor aul Seán got the black bag treatment. But sure didn't we all??

Listeners also got involved to admit to some of the bizarre outfits they were made wear as children. Elaine's "firelighters on the end of coat hangers" was definitely our favourite. Health and safety me arse!
