For the lucky few who participate in an Olympic Games, a typical right of passage is to have the Olympic Rings tattooed in celebration.
In fact, when we caught up with our panel of Irish Tokyo Olympics, they shared their own experiences of getting inked.
But for David Gillick, it was something he never considered until years after his appearance at the 2008 Beijing Games.
Speaking to Dermot and Dave, David explained how it was his wife who pushed him into marking his achievement.
David is also working with the VHI Women's Mini Marathon and shared some top tips for getting into running in time for the big event in September.
The VHI Women's Mini Marathon will be going ahead this year, virtually, with thousands of women around Ireland getting their runners on for great causes and great chats along the way!
