Is there life on Mars? Or could there be? NASA have sent their latest rover to Mars to look for signs of life.

Perseverance, the ninth rover left California with the hope to land on Mars sometime in February of next year. While on Mars, it'll break a record as it flies a helicopter-drone on another world for the first time ever.

Speaking to Dermot and Dave, space journalist Leo Enright explained why finding out more about why the red planet is so important to the space race.
