The last time Mairead spoke to Baz Ashmaway he was looking for volunteers to work on the Leixlip DIY SOS project, and since then the show has aired and become the feel good telly that we have been crying out for.

Baz told Mairead that while they were filming, everyone could tell that DIY SOS would be something very special and how heart warming it was to see all the work done by the whole crew for someone they didn't even know.

Baz is also taking part in the Zenflore 'Mind Your Mates' campaign which encourages people to stay connected. We're all having different experiences of life during Covid and it's so important to keep an eye on each other and make sure we're all managing ok.
