One of the things Mairead gets asked the most when she meets people is if we will ever see The Panel back on the telly. Well those people are in luck, because The Panel is (sort of) back for one night only!
Today Mairead was joined on the show by the former host of The Panel, Dara O'Briain, to chat about what we can expect to see on RTÉ 1 on Friday when we take a look back at The Panel as part of the Comic Relief fundraiser for The Community Fund.
Mairead also asked Dara the question on all our minds - how does he feel about Normal People's Paul Mescal muscling in on his turf and being the new hot Irish guy in London? Dara graciously said that the torch has to be passed to another generation at some stage. He has "worn the short shorts of representation of the Irish" and now it's time for Paul to wear the short shorts.
