Earlier in the week, Mairead spoke to Met Éireann's Joanna Donnolly who had put up her Christmas lights and it turned out a lot of you at home had done the same. So keeping in the spirit, Mairead decided we should do a movie watch-along for Netflix's 'Holidate'.
Movie buff Dylan Shine, who previously endured '365 Days' for Mairead, joined her on the show to give us his thoughts on it. Mairead was a big fan of Holidate, but Dylan's one word review would be "codswallop"!
While he thought it was quite a predictable story, it wasn't all bad - Dylan liked that it didn't take itself too seriously and it was a good cast. The leads Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey are both very easy on the eye and he wouldn't recommend not watching it.
The reviews from other listeners were quite mixed but the general consensus is if you like an easy going rom-com, then give Holidate a go!
