If you've ever had a baby or are getting ready to have one, you'll have discussed your birthing plan with the hospital - but sometimes things don't go to plan! Someone who knows all about that is Laura Mullen from Co Meath.

Laura was getting close to her due date when one evening she felt what she thought was her waters breaking. She went in to the hospital and was examined, but it turned out they hadn't broken so she headed for home.

However, as soon as the car pulled up to the house, Laura's waters did break! They started back to the hospital, but it all happened so quickly that Laura's partner Richie ended up having to pull in and baby Aoife came in to the world in the side of the M3!

Mother and baby are doing great and 4-year-old Ryan is thrilled to have a little sister.
