International credit reports can be tricky to navigate.

One listener wrote to Mairead Ronan asking for advice with her mortgage application, which was being delayed because of an issue she was experiencing with her Spanish husband’s credit report.

Speaking to Suzanne Kane, who is filling in for Mairead, Financial Planner Eoin McGee discussed the issue and what you can do when your bank requests a credit report from another country.

Eoin says that hope is not lost for this couple, and gave advice on how to plan ahead if you are living abroad and looking to settle in Ireland in the future.
