This Sunday 20th September is HB's Ice Cream Sunday and Mairead spoke to Special Olympic medalist, actor, writer and Lip Sync Battle Champion Mark Smith who is an ambassador for the campaign.

Last year Mark wrote and starred in the play 'Making a Mark' in Axis Ballymun which was an experience he really enjoyed and would do again in a heartbeat.

But Mark isn't one bit intimidated by fellow Maynooth actor Paul Mescal, and has set his sights on the West End!

HB are donating 10c from every multipack sold on Ice Cream Sunday to Down Syndrome Ireland. You can donate to Down Syndrome Ireland all week via their website.

All funds go to DSI’s See & Learn programme, which teaches speech, language, and reading skills in small steps for children with Down Syndrome up to 6 years of age.
