Bread has been getting a bit of a bad name in recent years, but a woman in Mayo has been on a quest to show us not only that bread can be good for you, but it can cure and prevent illness too!

Karen O'Donoghue founded The Happy Tummy Company in 2014 after suffering with IBS since she was a child, and she was determined to find a way to clear up the symptoms.

Karen told Mairead that after doing a lot of research, she developed a recipe for bread which made her symptoms disappear in days, and it has now been dubbed "magic poo bread" by her customers!

Legendary actress Goldie Hawn is also a big fan - she brought 8 loaves of the bread back to the US with her and sent Karen a message to thank her for the incredible difference it made for her and her sons' IBS.

Karen explained how it's important to pay close attention to processing food and ingredients properly, and how to easily incorporate these changes into your diet.
