A special three-part series is currently on RTÉ which follows a group of young people in Bray, Co Wicklow over an 18 month period.

One of those people is 15-year-old Aed and his mum Ciara who started the Wicklow Sudbury School after seeing how Aed and his siblings struggled in standard school.

Ciara told Mairead about how the school came to be, how it operates and what subjects the students choose to learn.
