Whitbread PLC is a British multinational company, which owns a number of well known hotels, restaurants and coffee shops.

These include the likes of Premier Inn, Brewers Fayre and Beefeater. 

They also own the UK's largest coffee chain, Costa Coffee which has 3,401 stores across 31 countries.

Recently however the company has decided to separate from Costa, while retaining their hold on Premier Inns and other brands.

Stockbroker and Team SBS regular, David Holohan of Merrion Capital joined Conall on the show to discuss the company on this week's business behind the brands.
