From Panto to reality TV, from the early days of soap opera stardom to the dizzying heights of peak Saturday telly fame Ant and Dec's friendship has stood the test of time.

Speaking to The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show the pair revealed why they thought now was the perfect time to release a book to look back over the last 30 years.

They chatted about the day they first met each other, their love for Leitrim and why Ant’s nickname is ‘Susan Boyle Boy.’
