With DWTS returning to our screens this Sunday (6:30pm RTÉ One) for it's second season, we gave our dance expert buddy, Brian Redmond a call to get the scoop on the new series, and hear his predictions.

Last night, all the celebs were paired with their professional dancers, and this has given the former dance champion "something to dig my teeth into". 

Brian is buzzing to be back for the much anticipated sequin bonanza, but he's still going to come down hard on the dancers - as he stated in a paper this week, "I think the most important thing is for the judges to be consistent so if you thought I was tough last year, I'll certainly be equally as tough this year". 

Having seen some of the couples in action, the judge has been pleasantly surprised behind the scenes - with one person in particular jumping out at him.

He also picks out two couples to keep an eye out for as his naps of the competition.
