Country music star Mike Denver was born, bred and reared in Portumna, County Galway.
With The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show broadcasting from his local hardware store this morning, Mike popped by for a chat about the country music scene and his beloved home town.
Despite dropping from 220 gigs a year down to just 2, Mike has been keeping busy with his daughter Mia, who was born just as the pandemic hit.
He was optimistic about the return of dancing and full capacity gigs after October 22nd. Here's hoping, Mike!
