Dermot Kennedy fans are rejoicing today after he announced two charity gigs in the 3Arena next month.

Dermot spoke to The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this morning to share his excitement at playing to a home crowd for the first time in two years.

Footie fan Dermot also talked about playing against the English soccer team and tackling Wayne Rooney for Soccer Aid.

He also spoke about his obsession with Roy Keane and gave us the scoop on what happened when Roy showed up at one of his gigs.

Tickets for Dermot Kennedy at the 3Arena go on sale this Friday 19th November.
