All hail Donncha O'Callaghan.

The gentle giant called into us this morning in our pop-up studio in Cork, and as always, he was an absolute pleasure.

Donncha hangs up his rugby boots at the end of this season, where he currently plays with Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership.

With only a few weeks left to go, Iano asked him about what's in store when he walks off the pitch as a player for the last time.

They also chatted about himself and Mario becoming bffs, the honour of being the most capped player for Munster and how he felt watching Ireland winning the Grand Slam without him being involved.

Ohhh...and then there's his son Jake, who is an absolute livewire.

Donncha, you're as sound as a pound buddy. Here's to seeing more of you on our TV screens in the not-so-distant future.

You can listen to interview in full by pressing play in the image above the headline at the top of the page.

Fore more fun like this, and everything in between, tune into The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show weekdays from 7am.
