Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern was the featured celebrity on last night's Who Do You Think You Are? on RTÉ 1, where his ancestry was revealed before his very eyes.

One of the biggest shocks for the proud Dub was discovering his family originated from Cork. So the rebel blood flows through his veins. 

To get his reaction, Iano asked him to feature on today's Gift Grub, where his selective memory took centre stage. Nothing new there says you.

His "vivid memories" as a one-year-old had us giggling, and his Cork accent isn't half bad either.
