It's the time of year where designers and green fingers from across the country (and the rest of the world) get set to showcase the plants of their labour in Phoenix Park over a 5 day botanical bonanza. 

Although it doesn't start until tomorrow, some of Ireland's well known faces have made their way to the grounds to get setup for the flurry of floral displays. 

RTÉ are well represented with their extra dosh, with Joe Duffy hosting a Liveline special #hoegate

TD Richard Boyd Barrett's display is a bit of a contradiction whereas Michael O'Leary's effort comes in under budget.

Simon "Sex on Legs" Harris steals the show - that is until the landlord has his say at the end.
