Mario was in for lots of surprises

On the 5th of May 1999 there was a revolution is Irish radio.

That's the day the very first Gift Grub was broadcast and Mario Rosenstock's been keeping us entertained ever since.

To mark the occasion, the Breakfast Show team put out the call to some of the people he has characterised over the years to record some special messages for the Gift creator.

Miriam O'Callaghan, Ronan Keating and Ronan O'Gara were amongst the well wishers and Mario hadn't a clue about it.

Here's to another twenty!!
