There was some very welcomed silverware for Kilkenny yesterday in Nowlan Park as they beat Tipperary in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Final.

Top cat Brian Cody led his side to his ninth league title with a six point victory, as he had that steely twinkle in his eye.

Brian joined us on the show this morning to chat about the game, and what shape this leaves the Leinster men in come the Championship.

He's as humble and gracious as always in victory, but draws a line in the sand with his very last statement...
