Hurling fans were thrown a curveball this week when Henry Shefflin was announced as the new Galway hurling manager.

Davy Fitz, who was a shoe-in for the job, joined The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this morning to share his very diplomatic thoughts on the appointment.

Kilkenny manager Brian Cody also reacted to the news and... let's just say he didn't take it well.
