After the whole FAI fiasco, John Delaney found himself on the doss due to his 'gardening leave'.

"What's gardening leave?", I hear you ask:

'An employee's suspension from work on full pay for the duration of a notice period, typically to prevent them from having any further influence on the organization or from accessing confidential information'

With so much time on his hands, Delaney has created a new green-fingered show dedicated to the hiatus.

The concept of Gardening Leave suits him perfectly - digging for dirt, grassroots, planting seeds, dead heading and lucrative allotments.
