The news of Wes Hoolahan's International retirement hasn't come as a shock to many, as the Ireland and Norwich wizard hasn't had many games due to injury, and other factors on the managerial front.
There is one man however who is finding it all very hard to take.
Poor aul Eamon has been Wes' biggest advocate over the past few years, and the thought of no longer seeing the 35-year-old's prowess in an Irish jersey has sparked a beautiful piece of poetry from the journalist.
