The #MeToo movement has been a revelation since going viral last year; empowering the women of the world and highlighting that it's not ok to do things which were once considered to be 'acceptable'.
Netflix have taken this on board, and in an attempt to prevent anything untoward happening in their workforce they have introduced some surprising rules.
Things like:
- No lingering hugs
- No looking at someone for more than 5 seconds
- No asking for a colleagues number
- No flirting
To help people abide by the regulations, the company has created a video including some clear instructions from your stereotypical feel-good, soft spoken and slightly condescending voice-over actor.
We played the video in studio this morning and gave some examples as to how it might go down in our day-to-day lives...
