Ireland's National Transport Authority (NTA) has come under fire for the absence of fadas on their Leap cards.
The NTA is blaming "technical limitations" for not providing the fada on names of commuters using the public transport cards. But yet they can include accents from other languages?
That's a bit Irish if ya ask me!
This revelation has angered many people across the country, with the likes of broadcaster Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh, The Hothouse Flowers' Liam Ó Maonlaí and Minister of State for the Irish language, Seán Kyne all weighing in with their disbelief on the matter.
With all this commotion, Joe Duffy hosts a Liveline dedicated to the forgotten fadas.
From a 14-fada caller to a Ryanair quota to disgruntled Sinn Féiners - it's getting messy.
Thankfully an NTA representative is at hand to discuss the diacritic mark dilemma. Kinda.
