It's that time of the year again...let the Eurovision parties commence!

Miniature flags. Check. Novelty drinking game. Check. Johnny Logan's 'Hold Me Now' on repeat. Check. Looks like we're ready for it.

The Altice Arena in Lisbon will tonight host the first semi final of this year's competition where Ryan O'Shaughnessy will be doing his damnedest to get us through to the final. 

To help him achieve his goal, pop guru Louis Walsh, former winner Linda Martin and Johnny 'I know shag all about music' Giles were on the line with their thoughts on how we can win. 

Louis is suffering from a bit of short term memory loss, Linda goes equine and Johnny doesn't beat around the bush.

It'd be some performance if Ryan took all this lot on board...
